I officially "killed" my June Scrapbook Kit with this layout and I even used the packaging that the cork Thickers came in!  A grid design with small 2"x 2" photos and small photo mats or layers is a great way to use up all the little bits that you might otherwise consider throwing away or hoarding.
I cut up the Thickers packaging into 2.5"x 2.5" squares to use as my bottom layers....

A few splats of bronze Colour Shine and machine stitching always helps ;-)

I'm back with another layout using the June "Globe-Trotter" Kit and I have used two small square photos on my 8.5" x 11" page.  I usually like to have my photos close to each other on my pages, but this time I decided to separate them and pop my title in between.  Instead of using my usual white cardstock background I decided to use yellow to match the patterned paper.

I die-cut my tag from patterned paper but you could easily do this with a paper trimmer.

A sprinkling of white Heidi Swapp Spray Ink really popped against the yellow background.

These die-cuts might be travel-themed but you can use them for so many other stories too.

I love the little acetate die-cuts that come in the kit- easy to adhere with either stitching or staples.

I added some gold Heidi Swap Colour Shine instead my usual black ink splats.

I created my title from the Crate Paper Cork Phrases and Arrows that came in the kit.  I love this font!

Hello Canaries!  I literally swooned when I opened this month's Scrapbook Kit- so many bright and bold colours and patterns perfect for scrapping my boys.  I tend to scrap my layouts (roughly) chronologically and I am currently scrapping photos from January and this includes lots of Back-to-School type pics.

Today I want to share a layout that tells my youngest boy (who started Kindergarten this year) that if he simply tries his best, he will do just fine.  I thought the "Shine Bright Like a Diamond" chipboard sticker in the kit would make a perfect title.

I also decided to make some embellishments by fussy-cutting the floral patterned paper in the kit and then layering it with stickers.

The twine in the kit was wrapped around this corrugated kraft coloured tag and I decided to used it for my journalling.

Some machine stitching and splats of Heidi Swapp Colour Shine were the perfect finishing touches.

I cut out some of the phrase's that worked best with this layout from one of Amy's papers within the kit

Mini banner made from the washi tape strips

And next "Hangin' with Heidi & Raquel"
I really wanted to use this paper in its entirety rather than chopping it up

I do love a mixed alpha title! This one made using the thickers from the kit, some older Heidi Swapp color shine alphas, October afternoon Mini Market stickers and a & from the Pinkfresh Studio die cut pack.
