Bernii Miller here with you today to share with you a little Project Life inspiration..

Hey guys, so once again I am using the wonderful Amy Tangerine Plus One papers that came in the March PL kit. I haven't really scrapped since my last layout I shared here on Polly! and I don't know about you, but for me I don't like the same collection of paper showing up two weeks in a row and with 2013 finished, I really had no idea what I was going to create to inspire you all to use those last little bits of your March kit. I was thinking of possibly making cards but then I thought to myself that I hadn't finished my end page for my 2013 album. I had picked out colours and cards but I was totally uninspired by what I had sitting before me. You will see the layout in the process video below.


So using the March kit, I decided to focus on the beautiful yellow and black love heart pattern which I just adore and from there I created a stunning black white and yellow end page for my 2013 album.



 I really love not using traditional christmas colours and papers on christmas type layouts. Since this was the end of the year and i had a heap of unused Christmas card photo shoot images left over, I decided to do a mini collage on one 12x12 Design A page.


I chose one of my 3x4 photos to also be in colour and add just a little something extra to my page. I have formed a habit of doing my title and end pages in black and white and the rest of my album in colour photos.


 I also used the cute little cork Instagram frame to focus in on another of my 3x4 photos.


 I used a lot of the cute little round stickers from the sticker sheets and just love how they so easily tie in with the colour scheme. And last but definitely not least, I have included yet another process video for you all. Even though this one doesnt have a lot to it, I still love documenting my work through video and since I dont blog, vlogging is my way of capturing the process. I hope you enjoy guys and thanks again for checking out my creations!

Hi Hi all, Ruth here with a share from the March Polly kits, I simply adore Amy's Plus One collection that was featured in the Polly March kits, well let's face it, there isnt an Amy Tangerine collection that I don't love to bits and it is sometimes a struggle not to buy more than i need whenever she releases one just so i can hoard it all forever because it is so lovely.. frankly I am overcome with the urge to squirrel away 100% of the exclusives when they come in a lovely package from Amy in the post! I swooned over these acrylic flairs and it was quite an act of willpower to put them in your kits instead of just KEEPING them all for me MUAHAHAHA!! (here are some of those gorgeous mini flairs in action on the layout)
 Hmm anyway, moving on from evil laughter and hoarding of exclusives to this month's project life share, which is taking advantage of Amy's design choice to have a black and white collection with awesome pops of bright colours. I decided to have a play with the colours and make a single side with lots of brights and the other side with all neutrals. I think that, for me, it is important to keep it fun and playful, as Tim Holtz is always reminding us, enjoy the journey. I try to apply that to crafting as much as possible and enjoy the creating rather than spending it focused on the results. The results are only one part of my hobby!
 Here is the bright side of the layout, all exploding with colour and vibrancy, I LOVE it! I kept the busier patterns to a minimum, only the black and white piece has a slightly crowded pattern so I left it quite alone otherwise. The rest of the papers are subtle patterns like brush strokes and small soft white patterns.
 Here is the other half of my colour playtime layout, with lots of neutral black and white and the delicious cork pieces. The photos certainly dominate when the background is so very much in the background!! I havent tried using so little colour before and was pleasantly surprised at the results. I have to admit though, it is less fun to play with neutral tones than my beloved bright happy colours.
Here is the full layout, and you can see that by sticking to Amy's collection for the full double page, the brush script, the hints of colour from the acrylics and the repeating elements like the camera and frame all help to make the double page feel quite cohesive. This would be harder to achieve if you were using a more eclectic mix of products I think.

I invite you to PLAY more, try doing something different next time you craft, for me trying one side without colours was a fun way to play while crafting. What would you like to try changing in your normal style just to have fun and "enjoy the journey" of creating. It is all too easy to get focused on your end page and forget that the whole point is to enjoy the time you spend crafting it!!

Carol again, here with a dilemma I am going to go out on a limb and state that most, if not all, scrapbookers have faced at least once in their crafty career!!

DILEMMA: "I have this gorgeous 12x12...it's double sided...and I LOVE both sides BUT only have one sheet.  What do I DO?  How do I decide WHICH SIDE to use??"

SOLUTION: "Create a double sided layout!!  Use both sides and it's a win win.  You don't have to sacrifice one side for another AND you stretch your stash a little further!"

Totally LOVE that base card stock from Amy Tangerine's Plus One Collection.  It's called Party of Two.  Here's a closer look:


See my dilemma?  Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!  I didn't want the other side of my card stock disappearing in my album.  Here is the layout I created on the back of "You love me like XO".


I aso had loads left of my Spearmint Leaves and Jellybeans kits to add a little dimension to the layout.

Hi everyone!

It's Carol here, welcome to my very first blog post and share ever!

Do you ever feel that music says what you feel so perfectly that you don't need any other commentary?  I do, lots!  Beyonce's song 'XO' is no exception.  My favourite line in this song translated my feelings perfectly and became the title for my layout.


I am using bits from both SOLD OUT Spearmint Leaves and Jellybeans kits for my take on Kate & Lauren's Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch for those of you who need to see it again!

I adore Amy Tangerine and this layout is ALMOST exclusively uses product designed by her, including the acrylic flair designed especially for Polly!  I used the underside of the flair for my layout, the pink was too bright for the look I was wanting to achieve, black was just right!


I'm a 12x12 girl.  Always have been, but won't always be it seems.  I am also a scrapper who loves simple clean lines (with a little bit of cheek!).  This sketch was perfection to me and the layout took me about 15 minutes to whip up!

Hey guys, so here I am back again with another PL layout and process video using some of the beautiful Plus One goodies in the new Jellybeans March Project Life kit from Polly!


Here is a video I made to run through the contents of this months Polly! PL kit.



I am such a lover of this range when I saw what was actually going to be in the kit I just ... well... I don't know what I did. My heart probably stopped beating or I stopped breathing or something. I cant remember lol. So as soon as I got the kit from Ruth I just dived as deep as I could into the goodness of this kit!



I am loving brush script, pink, black, white and GOLD! at the moment so for the week of my sisters 22nd birthday, I decided to play with some of my favourite things. I love how young and funky (yes I am feeling very old when I use the word "funky") this layout looks. It was probably the layout that took me the least amount of time to create (after I spent over an hour looking for my little scissors).


I am getting more and more familiar with my own style.. Drawing borders around photos and encrusting cards in jewels, enamel dots and other embellishments. I just love that no matter how different the colours or the design elements are, your layouts always look similar and follow a certain story. They just all flow from one to another.


I have decided that I really need to buy and acrylic block to stamp with. Before Polly! I didn't stamp, I still don't stamp, except for my Polly! layouts. I love the stamps but its so difficult to find something that will stamp evenly and give me a crisp image. Luckily (as you will see in the video), I found something to use to stamp the really cute speech bubble and phrase. It just works perfectly with the photo and I even found Josh asking the same question, "Seriously?" when he saw it. He still hates candid photos of himself in my albums lol.


Finally guys, here is the process video for my Week 12 layout. I cant believe I am almost caught up. Its crazy to think that I have stayed so regular with my layouts.

Check it out, Spearmint Leaves, the March Scrapbook kit, here is the full photo of yumminess (the Amy acrylics are not in the photo, but will be included in the kit). It is filled with goodies from the more classic yet just released to the exclusves from Amy.
You can see a few other goodies that are in this kit, It has some big and small this month, from the little gold geotags and vellum/gold leaves to the full packs of veneers and the full sticker book. This month includes a stamp set, the Amy exclusives, some cork die cuts of Amy's designs and the red hot brand new DIY stickers from Simple Stories Sn@p. The kit includes a mix of stickers from 3 different packets to give alphabet, label and 2 kinds of word stickers, so there will be bigger script words and also smaller words on coloured shapes in mixed designs. (The ones shown above are a sample only and each kit will receive a mix of designs from the packets). I WILL have more DIY stickers for sale in store as soon as they arrive.
Finally lets see this months printable from the amazingly talented Manda of Mandalika Designs. She has added heaps of embellishment potential into one A4 space.
